Baked Squash, Just 'Cuz
- Cut the squash in half. Scoop out the seeds. Wrap up one half of squash for later & other uses. Place the half you are using – in a shallow pan half full of water.
- Place squash skin side down in the water, and stick the pan in the oven at 450 for about 30 m, or until a fork easily pierces the skin. Drizzle a bit of honey & butter on the top and bake another 5 minutes.
Great as a side dish, all by itself or for dessert.
