Dear Friends and Local Agriculture supporters!

Happy EARTH Day, Full MOON  in April and glorious SPRING! 

 

Shipki Farm came into being 8 years ago. The inspiration and commitment to contribute to developing strong local agricultural options, coach next generation to grow food and share the fertility and boundless gifts of the earth, remains stronger than ever – despite sometimes huge obstacles.

Every morning I go up to the chicken coops to let the hens out to pasture, witness the gentle turning of the seasons,  breathe in the sweet air and send out gratitude for the beauty of this earth.  Such a fierce joy to be stewarding this small, precious corner of it.

You are hereby invited  to take part  – in whatever way kindles your joy 

There is much abundance – and the opportunities many:

Come to the farm, “be a farmer for the day” on any one of the next 3 Saturdays & take home a week’s worth of spring veggies ( see list below)

Stay the night / the weekend: We have a charming cabin, vintage bus, or nearby Guesthouse & B&B

Order veggies  “a la carte” –  ask for the weekly market sheet – and pick up your order in Langley or at the Farm

Visit our new farm stand on Langley Road  ☛ Opening May 8  ☚
